New Beginners' Group | Starting 11 January 2027
After 8 years, I'm delighted to be opening a new Swaranjali Level 1 group for complete beginners!
Swaranjali Level 1 begins with a 10-week term of live vocal classes, as part of an ongoing monthly membership designed to support your musical development. You'll have access to a range of learning resources and recordings and become part of an incredibly warm and welcoming community, with the flexibility to cancel your membership at any time.
Whether you're discovering Indian classical music for the first time or have always wanted to explore your singing voice, Swaranjali offers a supportive space to develop your voice, deepen your musical understanding and experience the joy of singing.
No previous experience of Hindustani music is necessary.
Your membership includes:
30 live classes per year, combining online learning and in-person sessions in London
Access to class recordings and learning resources through our private Swaranjali portal
Monthly online group practice sessions with fellow members
Individual vocal feedback and guidance
Access to In-Person Immersions with Ranjana and Guest Vocalists from
India (Senior Disciples of Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty)
Guided listening, workshops and a supportive musical community
Opportunities to explore different aspects of Hindustani vocal music and develop your own musical practice
Enrol by 20 December and receive a complimentary pre-recorded singing class!
As a welcome gift, you'll receive access to an introductory class on Long Notes.
Discover how to:
Sustain notes with greater ease and consistency
Gradually develop your breath capacity
Build stability and confidence in pitch
Cultivate warmth and resonance in your voice
This is a wonderful way to begin exploring your voice before our live classes start in January.

Classes take place on Mondays:
January: 11, 18, 25
February: 1, 8, Half Term, 22
March: 1, 8, 15, 22
You'll also be invited to our first complimentary and optional online group practice session on Sunday 17 January.
£65 per month
Pay £65 today to secure your place, covering your January 2027 membership.
There will be no additional payment in January.
Your next payment will be due on 1 February 2027, followed by £65 monthly payments thereafter.
We'll send you a separate secure Stripe link towards the end of January to arrange your ongoing subscription.
